Traveling the world for over 40 years while in the military is a great way to see and experience art in all its forms. It’s easy to get drawn into a personal style and a desire to create. Family genetics plays a big role in my story and I am proud and honored to have had some talent passed down to me.
I attended high school in Canada until the age of 17. At that time, I joined the United States Marine Corps, where I served my country for 13 years. As the military was being downsized I left the Marine Corps to try my hand at civilian life. It didn’t last long. Serving my country is important to me and a future I couldn’t ignore. I joined the United States Air Force where I served 25 years.
Since retiring, I decided to attend Buffalo State Colleges Fine Arts Program majoring in painting. I will have completed my school in May of 2021.
Today, I am happily married to my high school sweetheart, I spend all of my spare time either drawing, painting, sculpting, art classes, and a little bit of golf. All of my passions are taken care of.
